Brand & Identity


The Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) is the peak industry body and leading advocate for Queensland’s visitor economy, committed to the growth and sustainability of the state’s tourism industry.
121 Creative was approached to consolidate and update their brand with a polished and professional appearance, and a consistent on-brand message. Important to QTIC were that the updated brand referenced the current design, for ease of recognition, and that emphasis should be placed on the "Q".
121 Creative introduced the idea of the Q "speech bubble", representing the importance of word of mouth and recommendations for the tourism industry.
We then fleshed out the logo and brand to give it life and vibrancy, while retaining a professional feel through the circular geometry.
With the new brand in place, 121 Creative took the designs and ran with them! Creating a comprehensive set of material for QTIC to use.
