Billboard Design

St Joseph's Nudgee College, established in 1891, is a day and boarding school for boys from Years 5 to 12 located in Brisbane's north.

Nudgee tasked 121 Creative to create a billboard campaign that communicated St themselves as a community where life-long friendships are formed. A place that values not only on education, but creates a safe, happy and inclusive environment.

This was a lot to communicate and yet billboards don't have much time in the viewer's eye! We decided to convey as much as possible through the photography. Care was taken to ensure that every aspect of the photo, The primary subject of the photo, the supporting subjects, and even the actions of the student's in the background!

Once this direction was set, we developed the surrounding creative to supplement the theme.

The resulting billboard was simple, punchy, and effectively communicated the message.
